A Houston man was arrested and charged with 2 counts of possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance (less than 1 gram), driving without or with an expired inspection sticker, failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance), driving with an invalid license, violating a promise to appear, possession of marijuana 4 ounces to 5 pounds and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle on January 31, 2012, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. Jacoby Jermaine Sherman, 28 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on February 1, 2012 and is facing misdemeanor and felony charges. He resides at 12203 Old Walters Rd.
