College Baseball: Dustin Fuerst, University of Houston

Dustin Fuerst pitched two innings, striking out two and allowing no earned runs Thursday in University of Houston's 11-0 loss to Memphis. Fuerst graduated from Spring High School in 2010.

Fuerst is a 2010 graduate of Spring High School where he was a two-year letterwinner at pitcher and third base for coach Doug Rush. As a senior, 2009-2010, Fuerst helped Spring advance to the third round of the state playoffs. He also ran for the cross country team at Spring. In the classroom, he graduated as an AP scholar. Born May 22, 1992 in Tomball, Texas, he is son of Ken and Perry Fuerst
