College Baseball: Brian Fisher, Oklahoma City University

Brian Fisher went 1 for 3 and scored a run in Oklahoma City University's 6-3 loss at Rogers State on Thursday. Fisher graduated from Klein High School.

A 2007 graduate of Klein Hihgh School, Fisher was a two-time letter winner on the baseball team for coach Barry Smith. He batted .441 during his senior season (2006-2007) and earned first-team All-District honors. Fisher also lettered in football at Klein. Off the diamond he was a two-time academic All-State and All-District while being a member of the Latin Honor Society. A biology major, he is the son of David and Joni Fisher. Read more...

College Baseball: Aaron Schultz, TCU

Aaron Schultz went 1 for 5 in TCU's 12-6 win at BYU on Thursday. Schultz graduated from Klein Collins High School in 2007.

A 2007 graduate of Klein Collins High School, Schultz earned four varsity letters playing baseball for head coach Kent Meador finishing his career with 33 doubles, 15 home runs and 93 RBIs. During his senior season (2006-2007), Schultz hit .422 and was a first-team All-District, second-team Greater Houston and second-team All-State selection. He was also the team's defensive MVP and Louisville Slugger Honorable Mention All-American selection. As a junior (2005-2006), Schultz earned first-team All-District and third-team Greater Houston honors while also being named the team's offensive MVP with a .368 batting average. In his sophomore season (2004-2005) he had a batting average of .369 and was named the district's Newcomer of the Year. Schultz also excelled in the classroom at Klein Collins, earning academic All-State accolades. A movement science major, he is the son of Russel and Donna Schultz. Read more...
