Two Mexican restaurants receive health violations
The Taco Caliente mobile food truck in Spring received two health violations during its last inspection on August 2 by the Houston Department of Health and Human Services.
The mobile restaurant is located in the 1300 block of Montrose Boulevard in the "We Fix Flats" parking lots. According to the HDHHS, it failed to use multi-use equipment that was easily cleanable, durable and maintained in good repair.
The mobile restaurant also had a wall and ceiling that was not maintained in good repair. Taco Caliente was inspected because there was a change of ownership.
Also receiving health violations last week was Taqueria Brisa at 21022 Aldine Westfield.
The restaurant was flagged for having screens on windows and doors that were opened to the outdoors.
