A Spring resident is suing a woman who was driving a car that hit her stopped vehicle.
Kate Marie Strozier filed a lawsuit on Sept. 29 in the Loren Jackson District Court against Amparito Tamayo claiming negligence in his driving.
Strozier claims that on Aug. 16, she had stopped at the intersection of FM1960 and FM 249 when a Mercedes driven by the defendant crashed into the rear of her vehicle. As a result of the incident, Strozier claims she suffered serious injury.
Strozier is seeking damages, including medical expenses and court costs. She is being represented by Houston attorney Herbert A. Janzen.
