Spring man accused of running up $23K credit card bill
A credit card company is suing a Spring resident for not paying off his account.
American Express filed suit in Harris County District Court on Sept. 30, claiming that Jose Angulo failed to make payments due on his credit card account, which it claims has a balance of $23,775.
In its suit, American Express alleges that it sustained financial harm and lost benefits when Angulo stopped making his monthly credit card payments.
It was the responsibility of Angulo, American Express claims, to make payments on the debt he incurred.
American Express is being represented by Dallas attorneys B. Bruce Johnson, Jamie Silver, and James H. Morgenstern. They are seeking the money owed and attorneys’ fees.
