Women sue Spring resident over car accident
Two women are suing after allegedly being injured in a car accident.
Rosanna Vielma and Victorina Benitez filed suit in Harris County District Court on Oct. 12, claiming Nellis Zamora, of Spring, failed to yield the right of way while driving on T.C. Jester near the intersection of Gears Road, causing him to violently crash into Vielma's car.
The impact caused Vielma to careen into a third car, the suit claims.
In their suit, Vielma and Benitez allege they sustained serious injuries resulting from the car accident. It was the responsibility of Zamora, they claim, to follow traffic laws and drive safely.
Vielma and Benitez are being represented by Houston attorney Andreas Jones. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as court costs.
