Klein Oak named Texas' team of the week

The Klein Oak Panthers (8-3) were named the TexasFootball.com Class 5A Army Strong Team for week 11.
Each week, TexasFootball.com and the U.S. Army join together to select one team from every classification in high school football that demonstrates the qualities exhibited in the Army.
The Panthers are ranked No. 10 in Texas by MaxPreps.com and are averaging 31.6 points per game while compiling an average of 438.8 yards total offense per game.
The Klein Oak defense is averaging more than 68 tackles per game and the team has won five consecutive games.
The Panthers host the undefeated Stony Point Tigers (11-0) in a state playoff battle this Saturday at 4 p.m.
