HS boys basketball: Klein Oak v. Cypress Woods
Klein Oak battles Cypress Woods in the high school Border Battle Hoops fest on Wednesday.
Klein Oak is 1-3 on the year, losing 58-55 to Port Arthur Memorial on Saturday. Brandon Harris, a senior, led the way for Klein Oak with 21 points in the loss. Harris scores 18.3 points per game to lead Klein Oak, while Cameron Coleman adds 11 points per game.
After this game, Klein Oak will host Montgomery on Tuesday.
Cy-Woods is 0-2 on the year, losing 57-53 to Humble on Tuesday. Rashaud Dave, a 5-foot, 10-inch senior guard, led Cy-Woods with nine points in the loss. Cody Thomas, 6-foot, 3-inch junior forward, paces Cypress Woods scoring nine points per game. Noah Fake, a 5-foot, 11-inch sophomore guard, adds six points per game for his squad.
Following Wednesday's tilt with Klein Oak, a visit to Tomball is on tap for Tuesday.
Wednesday's Border Battle banger will go down at 10:30 a.m.
