HS boys basketball: DeKaney drops Pasadena Memorial
Dekaney defeated Pasadena Memorial in the Conroe Christmas Classic on Wednesday.
Dekaney won the game 56-50, moving to 14-4 on the season. Jalen Hughes, a junior forward, scored a game-high 19 points in the victory.
Dekaney will open up its District 13-5A slate against Westfield on Friday at 7 p.m.
Wednesday’s loss dropped Pasadena Memorial to 9-10 on the year. Anthony Christ scored 16 points in the defeat.
Memorial hosts La Porte on Tuesday at 7 p.m., then begins District 22-5A action against Pasadena Dobie on Jan. 18.
