Get Together Northwest seeking ministry partners
Get Together Northwest, an organization that brings together business leaders with ministry leaders, is accepting applications for Partner Ministries for its September 2011 to April 2012 season.
Ministries that are Christ-centered in their approach, have 501(c)(3) status and have ways for business people to volunteer their business skills are invited to apply.
Get Together Northwest business people meet monthly and focus on opportunities to get involved in ministry by using their business skills, expertise, entrepreneurship and contacts to help meet ministry needs.
Some examples of the ways the partnerships haved worked in the past include providing speakers on budgeting and time management, teaching what employers expect, providing job shadowing opportunities and job leads, conducting mock interviews for those seeking employment, giving referrals to reputable vendors, and helping start businesses.
