Denny's location on North Freeway aces county food safety test

A Denny's location in the Spring area recently passed its Harris County food safety inspection with flying colors.

County officials visited the Denny's at 15919 N. Freeway on Feb. 1. They gave the restaurant zero demerits out of a possible 100 – a perfect score.

The restaurant at this location generally receives good food safety ratings but had not recorded a perfect score in the past year. It received three demerits each in inspections in November, August and April 2010. An establishment must receive 20 demerits to be considered "of concern" and in need of a follow-up visit.
