Employee sues Spring air conditioning company after alleged injury

A Spring air conditioning company is being sued by an employee who says his hand was crushed by faulty equipment.

Rafael Molina filed the lawsuit June 2 in Harris County District Court against Precise Technical Services Inc. Molina says he was hurt at the company's facility in July 2009.

Molina says he was working at Precise Technical Services when he and another employee tried to pick up a lift. Molina claims his hand got caught in the lift and crushed -- an injury that he says required surgery.

Molina alleges other employees had lodged several complaints about this particular lift. He says they reported it would randomly start when not in use.

Molina accuses Precise Technical Services of negligence for knowing the machinery was malfunctioning but failing to fix it. He is asking for an undetermined amount of money in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court costs.

Molina is represented by attorneys Bill L. Voss, Scott G. Hunziker and Sean P. Nobmann, of The Woodlands.
