Aldine business services company sues Spring client over Internet charges
A business services company with offices in Aldine is suing its client, from Spring, over claims he failed to pay for services, as promised.
Meridian Business Services, with offices in Aldine, filed a lawsuit on June 7 in Harris County District Court against Spring resident Barry Koffman, alleging breach of contract.
Meridian says that on Sept. 1, 2010, it agreed to provide telecommunications and high-speed Internet services to Koffman for $725 a month. According to the brief, Koffman breached their agreement by failing to pay for these services in accordance with the contract.
Meridian is seeking liquidated damages in the amount of $8,638.94, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Dallas attorney Katie Berry.
