Spring residents blamed for vicious dog mauling
Spring residents are being sued over claims their Catahoula leopard mix dog viciously attacked an 8-year-old boy.
Spring residents Andrea and Barney Brasher, on behalf of their minor son, filed a lawsuit on June 14 in the Harris County District Court against Spring residents Ethel and Ben Kloepper, citing negligence.
The Brashers say that on March 27, the Kloeppers' family dog, "Molly," a Catahoula leopard mix, attacked, mauled and bit their 8-year-old son. According to the brief, the Brashers' son was playing with the Kloeppers' son when the dog attacked him and pulled him into the Kloeppers’ backyard, biting him on the face and neck.
The Brashers are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Steve Waldman.
