Spring resident blamed for wrist and knee injuries
A woman is suing over claims she sustained serious injuries while shopping at a North Houston-area furniture store.
Linda Marsters filed a lawsuit on June 20 in Harris County District Court against Spring resident James McIngvale, doing business as Gallery Furniture, and Linmac Corp., alleging negligence.
Marsters says that on Jan. 21 she fell, seriously injuring her wrist and knee, while shopping at McIngvale’s store, Gallery Furniture, located at 6006 North Freeway. According to the brief, Gallery Furniture employees were putting together a bed in a public area of the store when a post from the bed rolled, causing Marsters to fall.
Marsters is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Jerome Fjeld.
