Spring salon accused of false promises regarding false lashes
A Harris County resident is suing after paying $2,300 for false eyelashes.
Mercedes Soriano filed a lawsuit on June 28 in Harris County District Court against Jo Mousselli, of Spring, citing breach of contract, breach of warranties and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Soriano says that she recently hired Mousselli to teach her how to apply false eyelashes. Soriano paid $2,300 for this service, which included false eyelash instruction and supplies, but Mousselli supplied neither, according to the press release.
Soriano is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Harry Arthur.
