Free haircuts, school supplies offered at Armadillo Flea Market
The Acreage Home Heritage Foundation will provide free school supplies, haircuts and more during the Armadillo Flea Market.
This will be the third year for the Back to School Extravaganza. Sponsors of the event will provide free school supplies, food and special sessions for children and parents. The event will also feature business opportunities for stay-at-home moms.
In addition to the AHHF, the Motherland Clinic will provide health screening services to kids going back to school. The schedule for the day’s events is:
Food will be availabe from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Beginning at 11 a.m. vouchers will be given for free haircuts.
At 1 p.m., there will be entertainment.
At 3 p.m., backpacks with school supplies will be distributed.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the Armadillo Flea Market, located at 431 E. Airtex.
