Spring nonprofit adds two new board members
Project 20-20 has announced the appointment of Tara Jones and Mike Harris to the organization's board of directors.
Jones is an educator with more than 20 years of experience in teaching. In the previous four years she worked as a first-grade teacher for gifted and talented students with English as a Second Language credentials at Delores Reed Elementary School. Prior to that, she taught in the Cy-Fair School District. She is married to Onzie L. Jones, Jr. and together they have two daughters.
Harris is a former professional baseball player, coach and scouting supervisor. He has also spent time as a college campus minister and interim youth director. He has done public speaking on topics such as motivation, leadership and spiritual development. Harris founded and is the president of Miracle Baseball Academy. He and his wife, Veronica, have three children.
