Klein ISD scores high on financial integrity rating system

Klein ISD has earned a Superior Achievement mark from the FIRST Program, which measures financial accountability.

This has been the ninth year in a row that the school district has earned the mark. A score of 56 is passing, and KISD scored 75, which earned it the state's highest possible rating.

The score is based on disclosure requirements of the district's financial management performance report, which include copies of all financial activity and income by the superintendent and board members.
