Spring/Klein/Tomball roundup: Rocky ride in 13-5A
Dekaney and standout running back Trey Williams host what will be a motivated Klein Collins team, which is determined not to slip into a 0-2 district hole. On the flip side, Dekaney, which is looking for a first playoff berth in its fourth varsity season, can make a big statement by beating Klein Collins, something the Wildcats have never done. Dekaney led Klein Collins 21-14 in the fourth period last year before the Tigers scored 14 unanswered points over the final 5:25 to pull it out. The matchups include Klein Oak welcoming Klein Forest, Dekaney entertaining Klein Collins, and Tomball hosting Spring, and along with determining queens, kings and the other royalty, there's playoff ramifications throughout all three contests.
