The owner of an East End McDonald’s restaurant is being sued over claims he failed to protect his customers from a dangerous sidewalk situation.
Rosa Valley filed a premises liability lawsuit on Oct. 28 in Harris County District Court against Spring resident Vance Teroy, doing business as McDonald’s.
Valley says on Oct. 10, she sustained injuries while at Teroy’s McDonald’s restaurant, located in the East End. According to the brief, Valley tripped and fell over bolts sticking out of the sidewalk that had previously secured a handicap parking sign.
Valley is seeking actual and special damages, as well as court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Norman Straub.
