Spring residents sued over dog bite

Spring residents are being sued over claims their dog attacked a juvenile.

Spring resident Luis Grimaldo, on behalf of his minor son, filed a lawsuit on Dec. 2 in Harris County District Court against Yiqeiyi and Jonski Brooks, of Spring, citing negligence and gross negligence.
 
Grimaldo says on March 28, his son sustained injuries when he was attacked and bitten by the defendants’ dog in the 2000 block of Goldspring in Spring. According to the brief, the defendants failed to properly leash and monitor the dog.

Grimaldo is seeking actual and punitive damages, as well as court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Christopher Fletcher.
