Users of the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.com have submitted the rates for 84 gas stations in and around Spring and Klein, as of Dec. 16. Based from these rates, the average gas price in the area was around $3.025 per gallon. The average for Spring and Klein was lower compared to the Texas ($3.049), Houston ($3.050), and United States ($3.246) averages.

The average for Spring and Klein last week was about $3.061 per gallon.

The cheapest gas rate in the area was sold at CITGO, 24419 Kuykendahl Road and Hollywick Drive. This station was offering a gallon of regular unleaded gas at $2.91.

CITGO at 3843 FM-2920 and Falvel Road was charging the most expensive gas rate in the area, at $3.29 per gallon of regular unleaded gas.
