HS girls basketball: Katy Taylor defeats Klein
Katy Taylor defeated Klein 51-38 in girls high school basketball action on Wednesday, at the Taco Bell Holiday Classic.
The win ups Katy Taylor to 16-5 on the season.
Kendall Covington scored 15 points in the win to lead her team to victory.
Katy Taylor will next host Memoria at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The loss drops Klein to 11-7 on the season.
Ashley Alexander netted 12 points in the loss.
Klein will next host Tombal at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6.
