HS girls basketball: Dekaney defeats Klein Forest
Dekaney defeated Klein Forest 44-34 in District 13-5A girls high school basketball action on Friday.
The win ups Dekaney to 25-1 overall and 5-0 in district play.
Kayla Nevitt scored 16 points in the victory. Brianna Taylor chipped in 10 points.
Dekaney will next host Tomball on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Klein Forest to 19-4 overall and 3-2 in district play.
Ebony Parker scored 13 points in the victory.
Klein Forest will next host Klein Oak on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
