Spring Burlington Coat Factory named in trip-and-fall suit
A Harris County family is suing after, they say, unsafe conditions at the Burlington Coat Factory in Spring caused injuries to their child.
Clifton and Dina Journet, on behalf of their minor daughter, filed a lawsuit on Thursday, Jan. 19 in the Harris County District Court against Burlington Coat Factory of Texas, citing negligence.
The Journets say on Oct. 24, 2010, their daughter was injured while they shopped at Burlington Coat Factory, located at 205 W. Greens Road in Spring. According to the brief, their daughter tripped and fell and hit a wall peg.
The Journets are seeking damages and court costs. They are representing themselves in the case.
