Spring Walmart named in slip-and-fall suit
Walmart Texas is being sued over claims a customer suffered injuries at its Spring location as a result of an unsafe shopping environment.
Hazel Maxwell filed a lawsuit on Jan. 23 in Harris County District Court against Walmart Stores Texas, citing negligence.
Maxwell says on July 10, 2011, she was injured while shopping at Walmart, located at 3450 FM 1960 in Spring. According to the brief, she slipped and fell in a puddle of water left on the floor.
Maxwell is seeking $74,000 in damages, as well as court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Adam Criaco.
