Former Houston area stars Anthony Odunsi and Chris Hines push Utah to victory
Chris Hines, a 2008 graduate of Klein Forest High School, and Anthony Odunsi, a 2011 graduate of Travis High School, helped lead Utah to a 58-57 win over Stanford on Saturday. Hines tallied 19 points and seven rebounds, while Odunsi added four points, two rebounds and an assist.
As a senior at Klein Forest, Hines led the team to a 33-4 record while collecting both team and district MVP awards. The 6-foot guard also earned spots on the all-state, all-district and all-Houston teams.
A speech communications major, he is the son of Robert and Wanda Hines.
As a senior at Travis, Odunsi averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He earned spots on the all-district and all-region teams. Houstonpreps.net named him the No. 6 prospect in the area last year.
He is the son of Mo Odunsi.
