Stratford High School swimmers make history with post-season sweep
The Stratford High School boys swim team completed a post-season sweep of the district, region and state UIL Swimming and Diving Meet.
The competition was held at the University of Texas at Austin's Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center.
The Stratford Spartans outdistanced archrival and defending champion Kingwood Park by 50 points, 223.5 to 173.5, to be named the state Class 4-A boys team champions.
