Project 20-20 board member receives honor
Project 20-20 advisory board member and Texas A&M University associate professor Dr. Valerie L. Hill-Jackson, Ph.D., has been awarded a Fulbright Traditional Core Scholar grant to research and lecture at Cardiff University in Cardiff, Wales.
Project 20-20 advisory board member Dr. Valerie L. Hill-Jackson, Ph.D., has been awarded a Fulbright Traditional Core Scholar grant to research and lecture at Cardiff University in Cardiff, Wales, from August 2012 through August 2013.
Hill-Jackson, a clinical associate professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture at Texas A&M University, will be heading to Cardiff University, one of the leading research universities in the United Kingdom. She will collaborate with Cardiff University's Centre for Critical and Cultural Theory in the Cardiff School of English Communication and Philosophy. During her year there, Hill-Jackson will conduct a community research project and teach a social science course.
