Tomball's Bunny Run activities set for April 14

The fourth annual City of Tomball Bunny Run 5K and Kids 1K is set for 8 a.m. April 14 at Railroad Depot Plaza.

Kids can also take part in the Golden Egg Hunt from 4-5:30 p.m. and enjoy Earth Day-themed activities provided by Girl Scout Troupe 14352.

Students in steel drum bands will entertain; Miss Tomball 2012, Lacy Easley, will be there; and live birds from About Birds in Pinhurst will be on hand.

H-E-B will conduct a children's book drive, and all donors will receive a coupon for one free attraction at Mountasia Fun Center at Willowbrook Mall.

Railroad Depot Plaza is at 201 S. Elm St., one block south of FM 2920 and the railroad tracks. In case of rain, the indoors events will be at the Tomball Community Center, 211 Market St.
