Society for the Advancement of Floral Design to hold annual gala

The Society for the Advancement of Floral Design will host its annual tablescapes gala from 5:30-10 p.m. April 26 at Northgate Country Club, 17110 Northgate Forest Drive, Houston.

Tables are dressed and adorned to reflect a theme that the designers choose, and the tablescape viewing will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The gala showcases SAFD members and area floral designers. There will also be a raffle and silent auction. More than 200 people are expected to attend.

Proceeds generated from the event benefit SAFD. Members of the nonprofit include area florists and floral designers, novice designers and floral enthusiasts.
