Spring High Color Guard finishes season unbeaten
The Spring High School Color Guard finished its season undefeated by winning the Texas Color Guard Circuit Scholastic Open at the 2012 State Championship April 1 at Pearland.
The Spring High School Color Guard finished its season undefeated by winning the Texas Color Guard Circuit, or TCGC, Scholastic Open at the 2012 State Championship April 1 at Pearland.
“This is the third TCGC state title won by Spring High in the last four years under director Chad Berkstresser," said Gabe Musella, Spring High band director. "In an activity where placings are decided by decimal points, Spring High won by over five points. We are very proud of these students for their incredible effort."
In addition, this season, the Spring High School Color Guard won the Winter Guard International, Houston Regional and the WGI-Dallas Super Regional by wide margins.
Members of the Spring High Color Guard are Ezra Abardo, Marcy Trevino, Shawn Banani, Stephanie Ramirez, Khayla Worley, Carisil Lumapas, Rachel Maynard, Josefina Castillo, Christina Davila, Julianne Lacsina, Skylar Fontenot, Savannah Bolton, Derek Nicholson, Juliette Saldana, Pamela Ruiz, Samantha Lovell, Tajma Francis, Amber Phillips, Lily Polinsky, Patricia Smith, Kimberly Fabela, Brianna Jackson and Victoria Langton.
