Bird-watching, book drive, salute to law enforcement among upcoming events
The following events are scheduled to take place during the upcoming days in and around Spring:
SATURDAY 5
A Celebration of Bird Migration
Bird-lovers can enjoy bird walks, a live owl exhibit, bird banding and other activities, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Kleb Woods Nature Center, 20303 Draper Road, Tomball. This daylong program will include a presentation on discovering bird species, photographing birds, how owls hunt and the mysteries of bird migration. Free and open to the public. Call 281-357-5324.

Relay for Life

THURSDAY 3
'Art': Watch the Tony Award-winning comedy play "Art" by Yasmina Reza, 7:30 p.m. at The Texas Repertory Theatre Co., 14243 Stuebner Airline Road, Houston. The play runs through May 27, with performances 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Citywide Book Drive: Texas American Title will be hosting a citywide book drive accepting new and gently used books, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at 16000 Stuebner-Airline Road, Suite 150, Spring.
