Tomball Business and Professional Women's group to launch membership drive

A membership-drive event will be hosted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, by Tomball Business and Professional Women's group at the Amegy Bank Building, located at 28201 Texas 249 in Tomball.

This drive will give local businesswomen the opportunity to network with other professionals.

The guest speaker will be Charlotte Stallings, vice president of investment strategies for American Express.

The topic for discussion will be the challenges women face in daily life and the difficulties of adjusting to changes and setbacks. The speaker will provide new business ideas for today's tough economy.

Members are encouraged to bring a friend to enjoy a complimentary lunch for first-time guests.

Admission is $15 at the door.
