Relay for Life to begin this week
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Northwest Harris County will host its seventh annual race Friday, May 11.
The race will begin at 7 p.m. May 11 and will last through 7 a.m. May 12 at Klein Oak High School, located at 22603 Northcrest Drive.
According to a press release, more than 1,200 walkers will take part in the event to raise $200,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The event will feature entertainment, which includes music, a butterfly release, team fundraising activities, theme laps and contests.
