Benefit for Christian Bienek set for May 12
A benefit for Christian Bienek, who is fighting T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 12.
T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma is a cancer of the Lymphatic system, the body's system of fighting and killing infection. Christian goes to Texas Children's Hospital for Chemotherapy once a week with his mom in order to fight the cancer. He is fairing well, though he must undergo treatments frequently.
A benefit will take place at Rack's Sports Bar and Grill, at 17100 Kuykendahl Road, in Houston. Events during the evening will include food, drinks, live music, a pool tournament, as well as an auction for guests' enjoyment. The benefit will help his family afford the heavy expense of Christian's treatments—they are a family of seven with a single income.
