Spring Walmart named in slip-and-fall suit
Wal-Mart Stores is being sued over claims it failed to offer customers a safe shopping environment at its Spring location.
Zumrud Khalilova filed a premises liability lawsuit Thursday, May 10 in the Harris County District Court against Wal-Mart Stores.
Khalilova says on May 13, 2009, she suffered serious injuries while shopping at Walmart, located at 155 Louetta in Spring. According to the brief, she slipped and fell on water that was dripping from the ceiling near cash register No. 28.
Khalilova is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Michelle Blum.
