Spring resident sues over Jaguar S-Type
A Spring resident is suing over claims a Jaguar dealership sold him a lemon.
Spring resident Kerry Simon filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, May 15 in the Harris County District Court against Jaguar Land Rover North America, citing breach of warranties.
Simon says on July 12, 2008, he purchased a Jaguar S-Type with a four-year or 50,000-mile warranty from the defendant for $73,495.44. Almost immediately after the purchase, Simon learned the car had many defects, including a warped body, sagging headliner, coolant leak and a malfunctioning electrical system, according to the brief.
The suit alleges the defendant could not or would not repair these defects.
Simon is seeking attorney's fees, damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Georgetown attorney Robert Kiddie.
