Northwest Assistance Ministries seeks Meals on Wheels drivers
Northwest Assistance Ministries is in need of volunteer drivers for its Meals on Wheels program.
Sixty drivers are needed to deliver hot lunches on weekdays. The meals are prepared and picked up at NAM's headquarters, 15555 Kuykendahl, or at Peace Catholic Community located on Highway 249 and Perry Road.
Drivers must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Texas driver's license, proof of insurance and provide their own car and gas for deliveries.
Drivers are also needed on Saturdays to deliver frozen meals or groceries from the NAM location.
Two hours per month is the minimum time requirement. Volunteers may drive as often as they like.
