Northwest Assistance Ministries seeks volunteers for resale shops
Northwest Assistance Ministries has a need for volunteers for its Treasures of the Heart resale shops and donation centers.
Volunteers perform a wide range of tasks including the delivery of hot lunches and entering important client, volunteer and donor information into computer databases.
During the past fiscal year, Northwest Assistance Ministries served more than 148,000 clients with its 2,000-plus volunteers.
New volunteer orientations are held the first Wednesday and third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. at NAM's main building, located at 15555 Kuykendahl in north Houston. The classes will meet in the second-floor conference room.
Tours of NAM's four-story facility will be given during orientation.
For more information, call Linda Fullerton, NAM volunteer manager, at 281-885-4609.
