Gas prices in and around Spring and Klein were lower compared to the average for the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 90 gas stations in and around Spring and Klein. As of Saturday, May 19, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Spring and Klein is $3.559 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.493, Houston average at $3.549, and the nationwide average at $3.710.

The average gas price in Spring and Klein last week was $3.632 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Spring and Klein is reported to be $3.43 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at CITGO, 24419 Kuykendahl Road and Hollywick Drive.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.69, which was being sold at CITGO, 3843 FM-2920 and Falvel Road.
