Spring and Klein first-graders given free dental kits
The Masonic Home and School of Texas distributed 220 tooth-decay prevention kits to first-grade students in Spring and Klein this May.
The Fantastic Teeth Fan Club, a program sponsored by MHS, delivered the kits to students at Joan Link Elementary in Spring and Benfer Elementary in Klein.
MHS distributed the kits to the students to help reduce dental problems in youngsters.
Each kit contained toothpaste, a toothbrush, dental floss, a healthy teeth sticker, a two-minute timer, educational info for parents written in English and Spanish and a summary of the MHS's programs and services.
MHS is a nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to Texas children.
