Klein High School newspaper wins multiple awards at San Jacinto College contest

The Bearchat Newspaper at Klein High School won multiple awards at the San Jacinto College Communications Day Contest in April.
Editor-in-Chief Karina Pinzon received the top individual journalist award. She also placed second in feature writing, third in sports column writing, first in column writing and second in editorial writing.
Taylor Berry received a sports writing honorable mention.
Meridith Pettye received a news writing honorable mention.
Patricia Jamandre received first place in page one design and third place in feature photography.
Roman Pelham received first place in sports photography and second place in news photography.
Klein High School is located at 16503 Stuebner, Spring.
