Spring-area daycare employee accused of choking child

A woman is suing after, she says, a Spring-area daycare teacher choked her young son.

Kacy Reed, individually and on behalf of her minor child, filed a lawsuit on May 29 in Harris County District Court against Spring-area Beginnings and Beyond, citing negligence, negligence per se, negligent hiring and negligent misrepresentation.

Reed says on June 4, 2010, her young son was injured while in the care of the Spring-area daycare. According to the brief, a daycare employee choked Reed's son.

Reed is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Sam Mukerji.
