Northwest Assistance Ministries in need of drivers for Meals on Wheels
Local volunteers are needed to help deliver hot lunch meals.
About 80 drivers are needed to deliver the meals from Northwest Assistance Ministries, 15555 Kuykendahl St., or Winwood Presbyterian Church, 10555 Spring Cypress Road. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Texas driver's license, proof of insurance and provide their own car and gas.
Drivers are also needed Saturdays to deliver frozen meals or groceries from the NAM location. Two hours per month is the minimum time requirement, though volunteers may drive as often as they like.
