Carol Brushwood, Sheila Herwig and Carole Little of Northwest Assistance Ministries were presented with a $5,000 check from Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum for the organization's Back to School school-supply drive.
"Students cannot be expected to learn without the necessary school supplies," said Little, the group's president. "Kids also feel better about themselves and have more confidence when they have the tools they need in the classroom like everyone else."
