The Woodlands runner completes Grandma's Marathon
Sharon Griggs, 47, of The Woodlands completed the Grandma's Marathon in 4:29:52.
The event was held on Saturday, June 16 in Duluth, Minnesota. A total of 5,787 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which started outside of Two Harbors, and ended in Duluth's Canal Park.
The course is USATF-certified.
Berhanu Girma of Cambridge, Massachusetts was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:12:24, while Everlyne Lagat of Albuquerque, New Mexico was the women's winner in 2:33:13.
