McWhirter Elementary students tour University of Houston-Clear Lake campus

McWhirter Elementary School fifth graders finished the school year with a trip to the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus.

One hundred sixteen students toured the facilities and classrooms and had the opportunity to ask questions of the faculty, staff and student volunteers of the UH-Clear Lake School of Education. They also received goody bags filled with souvenirs.

McWhirter Elementary School is located at 300 Pennsylvania in Webster.
